From Bush to Ocean – South Africa as a Family

Family in South Africa

Scotches screens, consoles, social networks and friends, the prospect of a family trip is not always welcomed with open arms by our teens … Yet, it is not enough to capture their attention and make it a pleasant and memorable trip for everyone: an original approach to the destination, well-located and adapted addresses for adults, fun activities that leave traditional tourist circuits and a good balance between autonomy, rest and family time. The recipe to reconnect with their child’s soul without forgetting that they are now young adults.

This is precisely what this trip is planning for through the major sites in South Africa; a journey that we have designed to best meet the expectations of the whole family, but it is possible to modulate at will, whether in terms of activities or accommodation. We touch everything and we miss nothing essential: the cities – Johannesburg and Cape Town – with a look arty, sports, music or shopping according to the affinities of each (and especially theirs); the savannah around the Kruger National Park with rangers and then independently; and the coast to get fresh air on the Cape Peninsula and greet the whales at Hermanus .

With, along the way, well-defined activities already planned in the program and many others to compose according to the desire.  Logistics side -Here again we have everything planned: Air France lounge at CDG, fast customs passage and personalized welcome at Joburg airport, private transfer to the hotel for a smooth arrival; rental cars suitable for families to radiate at will, GPS and notebook of good addresses in support; well located and convenient accommodation for families; and our on-site concierge to assist you throughout the trip.

Teens will love
The bias of “everyone’s room” as soon as possible (not to have parents all the time on the back!) Or cottage to feel at home – the wide choice of activities or tours tailored to the tastes of each: Joburg in Mandela’s footsteps, Cape Town by bike, a street art tour of the city, another of the last temple of African modern art, the Zeitz Mocaa – meeting passionate locals: an artist, caretakers, a Francophone exile in Cape Town … – addresses that are out of the ordinary, with just the right trendy – find their child’s soul (and yours too) in the savannah, during safaris or in the evening around the fire – the pools to cool off at the hottest hours – the wifi to share their photos and impressions live with friends
